Some hints to avoid battery drain
- Switch off your phone when you are in no need of it.
- Switch off the phone when you are in no signal area as your phone will use a lot of battery to search for signals.
- Try to avoid vibrator function in the phone and use a ringtone instead.
- Turn off your phone’s back light or put it in auto turn off.
- Avoid using unnecessary features like flash, if it is a camera phone.
- Turn off the Bluetooth, Infrared, etc. when you are not using these facilities.
- Keep your calls short when there is a low battery signal in your phone.
Using your cell phone without batteries is not at all possible. So it is important to take care of your battery.
Charging the battery with improper charger harms your battery and reduces the life span of the battery. So always use the charger given by your cell phone manufacturer. Disposing the old battery is equally important as well. The batteries contain toxic metals which makes it harmful. Improper disposal of batteries is illegal in many jurisdictions.
